Bhagavadgeeta - Adhyaya 9
Chapter #: 9
Chapter Name: Raja Vidya Raja Guhya Yoga ( ರಾಜವಿದ್ಯಾರಾಜಗುಹ್ಯಯೋಗಃ)
Total verses (slokas) in this chapter: 34
Adhyaya - 9, Raja Vidya Yoga Chapter of Gita (here after referred as BG) - details more precisely how Arjuna can turn his actions into prayer and offerings to God, and Krishna's tone becomes devotional. This chapter has answers for questions like "What is the relation between Brahma and Shrusti? How delicate is that relation? why cant we see Brahma? etc..Krishna explains how the entire material existence is created, pervaded, maintained and annihilated by His external energy and all beings are coming and going under His supervision. The subjects matters covered subsequently are primarily concerned with devotional service and the Lord Himself declares that these subject matters are most confidential.
BG:
In Below verse, Krishna says "O Arjun, because you are not envious, I shall now impart to you this very confidential knowledge and wisdom, upon knowing which you will be released from the miseries of material existence"
ಇದಂ ತು ತೇ ಗುಹ್ಯತಮಂ ಪ್ರವಕ್ಷ್ಯಾಮ್ಯನಸೂಯವೇ .

The above verse hints that without proper eligibility (Arhate), one cannot gain anything easily. Krishna evaluates Arjuna to be deserving and only after that he imparts this confidential knowledge. Lord Krishna uses the word anusuyave which means without duplicity. Such a sincere person is naturally honest and of a spiritual disposition is also trusting. When such a person hears of the unlimited glories and matchless attributes of the Supreme Lord Krishna even though they are being revealed by Him; such persons have full unadulterated faith, trust and confidence that His words apply eternally and are undoubtedly without question the absolute reality. Such persons are qualified to comprehend this knowledge by which realizing and then implementing it into one's everyday life they shall be relieved of all reactions and impurities which are obstacles in the path to attainment of the Supreme Lord.

When we go deeper in this verse - it says, He (Krishna) created the whole universe and the material and living beings, and that whole universe exists within him. To bring any new object into existence (Shrusti - to create), by theory - you will need two important constituents : 1) the raw materials (Moola Dravya) which make up that object 2) the force/ energy (Moola Shakti) or a process which binds the raw materials together to form the object.
There are two groups for this :
1) Upaadana Kaarana (ಉಪಾದಾನ ಕಾರಣ): One which exists from beginning of creation and that which lives until the end (even if by transforming into something else) and
2) Nimmitta Kaarana (ನಿಮ್ಮಿತ್ತ ಕಾರಣ) : One which exists (takes form) only for a few moments and perishes or vanishes away for a momentary cause
eg: When a cotton is made to cloth using a machine - cotton is upaadana kaarana (because even in the final product cloth, cotton exists) but the machine is nimmitta because it is of no use after the cloth is made and it is created only for momentary use.
When this applies to all things created in world - but for the universe creation (shrusti) itself - Krishna says he is the Moola Dravya and He is the Moola Shakti. So He is Upadaana as well as Nimmitta for this world creation.

At first literal read, this verse contradicts the 9.4 where he says all living beings dwell in me. But the inner meaning of this is to say, although all creation and beings appear to dwell in him, they do not. It is only his Maya. Like how a dream is the only connection layer between a man and his creations in his dream, so is this illusion (Maya). Nothing exists in reality in Him, but yet, everything appears to be in him.
This above verse is explained by DVG with the example of a sugar candy toys (Sakkare Gombe). While adults admire the delicacy of the toys and fear and worry to not break them, kids only know the sweetness of sugar in them and want to just eat them. Until and unless we become kids who enjoy the real essence of things (Brahma is hidden in his creation, Brahma is the essence but people are lost in the creation, Brahma is the sugar, sugar toys is illusion) we will never realize God.
Maya is "Ya ma sa = The one which feels like it is when it is not". Below MK explains the quality of MAYA:

The above verse is detailed by Shankaracharya as below:
"There are 3 virtues in this sloka:
1) Eka Nishteya Sankalpa : Ananya chintya : Believe in only one with hard discipline
2) Nitya Yukta: He should be everyday Yogi (not just once), and work on that everyday to maintain the eka nishte sankalpa
3) Samyama : No Ahankara that one is doing first two.
The person who has all the above 3 virtues, will be under God's care"

In saying let god bear the burden, DVG means to surrender to him totally.
In below verse 916, DVG coincides with Shankaracharyas 3 virtue concept. when you are determined to hold on to God irrespective of 1000 births (Nishchaya), When you are ready to take it all in (1000 karma) and strive with it (Prayatna), and when you place god in you (that means you have samyama) - everything looks so joyful and beautiful instead of a burden.

aNagi iddu parabomma - Mankutimma
"God created his universe which has atoms, sky, stars, planets and beings in it. He has bound all of these with certain rules that define the role each play. The rules have been slackened a little so that the roles can be played out properly. God has hidden himself in this world. He is silently watching the elements dance before his eyes and he is enjoying their performance - Mankutimma"
BG:
Krishna does conditional promise in this below popular verse: "There are those who always think of Me and engage in exclusive devotion to Me. To them, whose minds are always absorbed in Me, I provide what they lack (Yoga) and preserve what they already possess (Kshema)"

"When we are unaware of this life's mutual indebtedness to trace until its origin, what can you approve? What can you disapprove?; Forget tough task of judging moral aspects and Let God bear the burden!-mankutimma"

BG:
In this verse of BG, we see the "idam namama (this is not mine)" concept. Krishna says "Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer as oblation to the sacred fire, whatever you bestow as a gift, and whatever austerities you perform, O son of Kunti, do them as an offering to Me"
